Lots of Undertaker chokes stating lead only have had HTL shot through them.I can't say yeah or nay but I feel that the few times you will be shooting through that choke you will have no problem, especially in the non ported types.

wait.. few times.. NO... i appreciate the advice but i shoot ALOT. Especially if it patterns well. Im not one of these guys who pattern in their shotgun and wait for turkey season. I check the pattern every time I get some time and money. I like the way the gun feels on my shoulder. I just dont trust the choke that says lead only. Im sure its just refering to NO STEEL.. but I still dont trust it. Like I said, There are alot of referal's that lean to the IC black diamond. It looks sweet as hell too. Its just a bit pricey. Im a 20 year old college kid with NOOO money lol.

well hell... that does sound like a good idea.. i just hope it doesnt produce mediocre patterns like the lead only one did.. i mean dont get me wrong.. if i am correctly, the turkey will die because im putting about 30 shots at 30 yards in his head on average... but hell...who knows right.

I killed a jake over the weekend at 45 yards. And he didnt even move, he was out cold when i fed him a few hevi #6s.

some of you might have seen my post with my pattern results about a month ago. the 40 and 50 yard patterns sucked! I think only 3 pellets went into the neck on this turkey. I know some went in the body too since my pattern is low to the right. But wow. I am really impressed with Hevishot. I am deffinatly hooked on it.

134 at 30 yards is an adequate pattern; but not great.

I would expect to see 200+ with H13 6s.

I have had several patterns at 40 that were in the 280s with a JH; most are in the 260s.

I actually switched this spring after a trip to the patterning board and shoot 7s now; results are 300+ at 40.

I killed a tom with this setup this spring at 38 yards; he was GYD, not even a kick after the shot.

With my SX2 and 3" 6s through a HeviShot Choke I am getting patterns in the 260 to 280 range at 40. My buddy used this gun to dump the tome standing next to mine this spring at 38 yards. He kicked twice after the shot.

We shot 2 toms at 30 yds and both hit the ground dead.
Hevi-13 is great.
