Choke Tube

I'm not sure if I have the right choke tube for my gun. The gun is a Benelli Black Eagle (not II) The choke tube I have is the Hevi Shot one that says it fits the Benelli Crio Plus and the SBE2. Is this the right tube for the regular Black Eagle? Thanks all

It is a Hevi Shot mid range choke tube. I can't find the part number. It just has the sticker that says..... 12ga Fits Benelli Crio Plus Choke System (SBE2 & M2 and other Models) I know they make another one that fits other Benellis but not sure if this is the right one or not for the regular Black Eagle.

You should be fine,but just incase contact carlson chokes,they can lead you in the right direction,also if you have the choke,just screw it in,you'll know right away if its not compatible.

I believe the SBE uses Beretta Mobil choke. and the SBE II uses the Benelli Crio Plus Choke System

The SBE, Nova/Supernova, and M1 use the Mobilchoke system, which is different from the tubes that the SBEII and M2 use(Crio). The threads on your gun come right up to the end of the muzzle, where the threads on the Criochokes are about an inch down inside the barrel. The Criochoke will screw into your gun, but there will be a gap between the beginning of the tube(closest to the chamber), and the end of the tapped out channel inside the barrel. This could cause serious damage, since the wad would in a sense, be trying to crawl under the tube on each shot.

I'm glad that you caught the problem before it did any harm. Hope you have no problem getting the correct one so you can be ready to put it on 'em this season!
