The only shot products that travel through the shotguns of my father and I are environ-metal. We use hevi-metal when we are waiting on ducks and geese. The 3.5 inch BB's are lethal on large ducks and geese proving to be the only shell we carry in the field anymore. We are well into our 2nd case of them and have yet to have the first one misfire or not cycle correctly. Then in the spring we switch to hevi 13 3.5" #6 shot. Our SBEII's put 300-340 pellets in a 30 inch circle at 45 yards with a Primos Jellyhead and Indian Creek chokes. My dad has shot several coyotes with this combo that have came running into his turkey call only to find a Hevi-13 dirt nap waiting. In the picture above I was able to bag my gobbler on an afternoon hunt. He had snuck around us the two weeks prior and on this day I had to try him as he was headed away. When the SBEII cracked the gobbler hit the ground and as I went running out there I began to realize how far the shot was. We stepped it off at 64 yards and the gobbler never even knew what hit him. So as stated above we are believers in this entire line of products. I look forward to seeing how the Hevi-Metal Flys here soon from the new line of choke tubes. Anyone who has any question about the effectiveness of these loads just needs to see how geese crumple at 60 yards... and gobblers drop stone dead at 50+ it is unreal... They have taken the shotgun to a whole new level.
